The Brief

Calvin Klein enlisted our services for an urgent website eCommerce replatform on ck.com, constrained by a tight 8-week deadline. They desired a design that was not only timeless but also forward-thinking, demanding components versatile enough to accommodate diverse content and commerce functionalities, requiring components with the versatility to support a diverse range of content and commerce functionalities. This was essential for ensuring their digital footprint could adapt to future advancements.

Design Approach

Our strategy emphasized the creation of timeless content and modern design, focusing on components and layouts built for longevity. To bring this vision to life, we developed a modular CMS-driven 'kit of parts'—a flexible suite of elements that can be utilized on any page, tailored to satisfy all content and commerce requirements. This system enables limitless page configurations, from intricate product details to engaging campaign landings, ensuring it can cater to a broad spectrum of content and commerce needs with ease. It was designed with the future in mind, offering the flexibility needed for updates and adaptations. In my role, I oversaw the project from its inception, guiding it through initial concepts and brainstorming sessions, to design execution and A/B testing, ensuring every phase aligned with our strategic vision.
