Content Strategy
The Brief
This project was initiated as part of Mattress Firm's rebranding efforts, aiming to modernize their online presence and enhance website conversion rates. Additionally, they sought to introduce more informative content to help consumers choose the right mattress for their needs.
Project Objectives:
To modernize the Mattress Firm online interface, aligning it with contemporary design trends while adhering to their new branding guidelines.
To enhance the website's conversion rates by improving user interface and experience.
To integrate educational content that assists customers in making well-informed mattress purchasing decisions.
Design Approach
Our approach to the Mattress Firm website redesign was strategic and multifaceted, designed to address both aesthetic and functional enhancements. By thoroughly understanding Mattress Firm's rebranding objectives and the needs of their target customers, we were able to craft a redesign strategy that not only revitalized their online presence but also aligned with their goals of enhancing user engagement and conversion rates. Here's how we approached the project:
Brand Integration: Our first step was to seamlessly integrate Mattress Firm's new brand guidelines into the site redesign. We expanded upon these guidelines to develop a comprehensive UI kit that would serve as the foundation for the website's new look and feel.
Design Enhancement: We paid meticulous attention to small design details across the website to ensure they reflected Mattress Firm's refreshed brand identity. This involved a thorough review and redesign of existing elements to align with the new branding.
Content Strategy: Recognizing the importance of content in the consumer decision-making process, we focused on creating immersive content and landing pages. This approach was designed to improve the overall user experience by providing engaging, informative content that resonated with Mattress Firm's target audience.
Product Details Revamp: A significant portion of our work involved revamping the product details pages. Our goal was to provide comprehensive information about Mattress Firm's mattresses, making it easier for consumers to understand the features and benefits of each product. This included detailed descriptions, specifications, and images.
Informative Content: In addition to product information, we introduced a variety of informative content aimed at assisting consumers in their mattress selection process. This content covered topics such as mattress types, sleep health, and buying guides, offering valuable insights to help consumers make informed decisions.
Final Designs
The combination of our efforts resulted in a website that not only embodies Mattress Firm's reinvigorated brand identity but also significantly enhances the user experience. The integration of engaging content and detailed product information positions Mattress Firm as a knowledge leader in the industry, driving increased conversion rates and fostering greater customer loyalty.
This landing page included a sticky menu that would indicate what level of firmness you were at on the page. It would also quickly take you to a specific section f you tapped a different firmness level.
I designed a landing page for one of their top brand Tempur-Pedic to show the flexibility they could have with brand landing pages.
We worked on a concept for Mattress Firm that involved creating a quiz to help you find the right mattress. This included a visually minimalistic quiz that would lead to your final results page.
