The Brief
This project aimed to upgrade John Varvatos' to enhance John Varvatos' legacy Salesforce platform and its order management system (OMS), ensuring both enhanced functionality and a design that reflects the brand's strong visual identity. Recognizing the importance of aesthetic appeal in aligning with John Varvatos' fashion-forward ethos, the project focused on seamlessly integrating sophisticated design elements into the platform's user interface. This enhancement was not just about modernizing a legacy system but embedding the brand's essence into every digital interaction to mirror the quality and experience offered in-store, thereby supporting the brand's growth and improving customer service globally.
Design Approach
To elevate John Varvatos' Salesforce platform, our strategy was centered on utilizing the existing framework as a foundation to build a more contemporary and luxurious user experience. This involved the meticulous development of a comprehensive style guide, which became the cornerstone of our design process. The guide detailed all essential design elements—typography, color schemes, spacing, and layout—to ensure every aspect of the platform resonated with the brand's sophisticated aesthetic.
Understanding the importance of functionality to match this visual appeal, we also focused on enhancing the platform's capabilities. This included exploring the integration of after-pay options to provide customers with flexible payment solutions, aligning with contemporary shopping preferences and expectations. Additionally, we conducted an in-depth analysis to evaluate the benefits of replatforming, considering how a migration to a more advanced platform could further optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.
These efforts were not just about aesthetic enhancement but aimed at creating a seamless, engaging digital environment that mirrors the high-quality and distinctive style of John Varvatos' products. By balancing visual design with functional improvements, our approach sought to redefine the brand's online presence, making it as compelling and customer-friendly as its physical retail experience.

In an impressive 10-week period, our team successfully launched the enhanced John Varvatos Salesforce platform, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and efficiency.
